Bear Hollow Trail at Mt Magazine

We will hike Mt Magazine's Bear Hollow Trail from Hwy 309 to Benefield Picnic Area, a distance of 2.7 miles rated easy to moderate.  Some of the best scenery on the mountain is found along this trail. It crosses several wet-weather creeks which lead to beautiful waterfalls and there is some of the last remaining virgin hardwood forest in Arkansas. Bring lunch and water. Meet at Home Depot parking lot to carpool/caravan.  We will leave at 8 AM. Kenya is hike leader.
