On Sunday, April 28th, TrailBlazers concluded the 16th season of hiking at Devil’s Den State Park.

Despite rain shower predictions, it was a lovely day with comfortable temperature. Hikers chose Devil’s Den Trail or the creek trail. Those on the Devil’s Den Trail were treated to blooming dogwoods, towering bluff lines, waterfall and views of Lee Creek. After crossing the foot bridge, hikers along the creek trail viewed a strong flow of water over the dam, wild flowers, and four baby geese with their mama and poppa swimming in the lake. We gathered in the pavilion, feasted on grilled hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, an assortment of salads, dips and chips, and desserts.  We wish all TrailBlazers a safe and happy summer.  See you at Devil’s Den on September 22nd when we kick-off our 17th season of hiking.
