We will combine these two trails to form a loop of about 8.5 miles. After an initial 500-foot climb, the trail is mostly along the ridge-top until it drops down the mountain to the Caney Creek Trail. There are great views, rock outcrops, waterfall and several creek crossings. This is rated strenuous due to the elevation gain and the distance. Bring wading shoes, lunch and water. Sign up if you plan to go. Bob is hike leader.
Meet at Home Depot in Fort Smith parking lot on the corner by the stoplight. We will leave at 7:30 AM.
