TrailBlazers began their 17th season of hiking at Devil's Den State Park.

Forty-two eager hikers gathered at the pavilion where we took our traditional hike picture before starting off to hike Devil's Den Trail or the creek trail.  The group divided into two groups led by Peggy and Linda on the Devil's Den Trail.  A small group of people hiked the creek trail led by Patty. We were surprised that the waterfall and the spillway had very little water.  The recent heavy rain in the river valley was not received north of the tunnel.  Afterwards, we gathered at the pavilion to visit and wait for the grill masters to cook the wieners to perfection.  It was a very pleasant afternoon and good beginning to another great season of hiking in our beautiful state.
