TrailBlazers enjoyed a great afternoon hike in downtown Fort Smith.

Starting at the National Historic Site of Judge Parker’s Courtroom, we hiked through the scenic Belle Point Area and then continued along the river on Greg Smith Trail for about 4 miles roundtrip.  The skies were cloudy and cold to start with but soon gave way to sunshine and blue sky. There are numerous sculptures along the trail, a new skate park, the site of the Marshall’s museum under construction and great views of the Arkansas River. It was a fine ending to our 2018 hiking season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.  We look forward to more great hiking in 2019!!
