With beautiful blue skies and warming temperature, thirty-three TrailBlazers headed to Oklahoma to hike at Robbers Cave State Park.

We began on Rough Canyon loop trail which is definitely well named.  It was very rocky, steep and wet. We crossed numerous narrow water drainages as we proceeded up the hill and along the rapidly flowing creek. It is a very picturesque area. We ate lunch by the creek and then continued on to Robbers Cave where outlaws hid out in the late 1800s. Many explored the caves and cracks in the huge boulders. One area is called Devils Slide where some attempted to actually slide down it. There were many families in the park enjoying the spring-like day.
