Due to a frigid early morning, TrailBlazers got a late start driving to Fayetteville to hike Mt. Kessler trails.

Nine hardy souls showed up dressed in layers to ward off the cold.  By the time we arrived at the trailhead, the temperature had risen to near 40.  So, with the bright sunshine, we warmed up quickly as we headed up the mountain.  The trail was very wet and muddy and there was still a thin layer of snow in the woods.  We hiked about 4.5 miles through the woods and rocky terrain. It was a great day to spend time outdoors doing what we TrailBlazers love to do -HIKE!
