It's always a treat to have our Nebo Dude, Gene, lead our hike on the Rim Trail at Mt. Nebo.

Gene has a cabin there and tells us the history and stories about the mountain. This was our third Saturday in a row to have wonderful hiking weather. After completing the hike, we were all invited to Gene’s cabin for Root Beer Floats, coffee and hot chocolate. Gene’s two lovely daughters and son-n-law were excellent servers of the tasty treats that was enjoyed by all. We all love his cabin and enjoy the panoramic view from the top of Nebo Mountain. Many thanks to Gene and his family for their hospitality.  

We ended the weekend with Tim Ernst's presentation of his new slideshow, Arkansas Splendor.  A large crowd enjoyed the beautiful pictures set to music.
