Despite the strong wind that made a sunny, 48 degree day feel much colder, TrailBlazers went to Lee Creek Recreation Area for our annual after turkey-day hike.

This beautiful area offers the closest actual hiking trails so it is a short drive for an afternoon outing. The lake was full, the creek was up and the waterfalls were flowing nicely. Along the trail there are historic remnants and an old cemetery with headstones dating back into the 1800s. Everyone enjoyed being out after several rainy days.
