Ten TrailBlazers traveled north to hike the rugged, scenic trail around Lake Lincoln.

After taking our group picture, we headed up the hill and through the woods. There were great views of the lake and a couple of fishing boats on the water. The trail quickly enters the maze of huge rocks and then flattens out along the creek that empties into the lake. The water was very low  so we were able to cross the creek on the rocks. From there the trail was up and down with the views of massive rock bluff lines and huge chunks of rock. After stopping for lunch, we soon left the rocky area, walked through a grassy field and across the dam.  The trail continued through the woods and came to a rock tunnel. It was a perfect day for hiking this very unique area of Arkansas.
