TrailBlazers hiked at Mt. Magazine State Park Saturday, March 4th.

It was a cold morning when we arrived at the Visitor's Center to begin our hike.  We walked the road to reach the trail that took us up Signal Hill, the highest point in Arkansas at 2,753 feet. The large sign there was a good backdrop for our group picture. In front of the sign, stones have been laid out in the shape of the state of Arkansas. Signal Hill is a must see. From there, we descended the hill and walked through the campground across the road to reach the North Rim Trail. After the rain the previous days, the creeks and drainages were flowing.  We had multiple water crossings as we made our way back to the Visitors Center. After eating lunch in the pavilion, we headed home.  Another great day hiking.
