Thirteen TrailBlazers walked the trails at Chaffee Crossing on a cool, sunny Sunday afternoon.
The walk began at McClure Amphitheater where we crossed the road and entered the wooded area. A lot of the trees have been cleared between the trail and Massard Road where construction is going on. We kept a steady pace as we chatted with one another and got acquainted with a couple of newcomers. We passed a small cedar tree that had been decorated for Christmas. We soon came to Torraine Lake and walked around it. One fishing boat was on the lake. After circling the lake, we backtracked our way to the parking lot. Total distance 4.5 miles.
